This site has the reputation of being many programmers’ most-used reference location. It is an online community that allows anyone to ask a question that will be answered by master-class programmers. Why are these guys so gracious? Well, before you decide it’s because they feel it is their civic duty, let me add, the more posting of answers, the higher they go in ranking and the more personal branding they achieve. The discussion forum is a no “chit-chat” zone. And, in the end, everyone wins, especially the global developer community.

One of the best ways to solve problems is to look at how others have built something like the problem-related project. Ask any do-it-yourselfer; watching is the best way to learn a new skill. GitHub is perfect for doing just that. This site has code that is open to the public.
Programmers post their projects on GitHub, along with in-line editing and a source-code browser provided by the host. That means many open source projects are there at your disposal. On top of all that, the community that makes up GitHub is remarkably responsive and active. GitHub understands that better code comes from collaboration, so they have created a space for just that.
